Oil filter question

Hi all, I'm in the middle of installing oil cooler and switching to red line oil and just noticed I recived different oil filter from what I ordered. So my question is can I use K&N HP1005 on a Z with redline 5w30? Or should I get another filter?

If the question is "Is the filter chemically compatible with the oil?", then yes.

If the question is "Is the filter mechanically compatible with the engine?", then probably but I'm not 100% sure.

im using same oil but have switched to a Purolator PSL14610 that is for syn oils, had them at Kmart for $8.95 and couldn't find this filter anywhere else locally,,some of the ebay guys are wanting $20+
