Default Anybody encounter this failsafe mode yet?

No SES light.

Need to take it in for service and see if it threw any codes. Just wondering if anybody has encountered this yet.

It was fine. Actually, it had just been sitting for over an hour too.

No seriously, it was NORMAL driving. It was an error produced by the ecu. Possibly not reading one of the sensors, like the pedal or the MAF.

Have you felt the traction control pll pull power before? Maybe one of the sensors sent a bad signal and the car decided to hit traction control.

There is no doubt that I've felt traction control before.
Have any of you felt the rev limiter before? They're two different feels/responses.

This was a limiter.

What RPM's were you limited to? There's a rev limiter that kicks in if the ECU doesn't read a gear selected in the gear box, 4500 rpm I believe.

That's major limpage. Not sure what event would limit you that low, even with VVEL disabled you can get to 3000 rpm.
