zspeed HD CSC

hi guys,

long story short, installed the HD CSC, replaced MSC, got the SS hoseline but apparently the bleed valve won't shut properly and it leaks. shop sent me a vid but it's very low quality... it like drips out slowly.

any idea why? or has anyone else run into this problem? any way to fix?

p.s. I've contacted Joe as well but don't expect to hear back until Monday.

Yep, another member reported the same problem with the bleed valve a few months ago. IIRC the member spoke with Joe at Z Speed and was sent a new bleed screw which solved the problem (... or they may have simply purchased a new bleed screw from a local auto parts store). Probably best that you talk with Joe and get his advice. Keep the rest of us posted on what you find out. I have a spare HD CSC and I'd like to know if it could suffer from the same problem. Perhaps a bad batch of bleeder valves was produced.

do you remember the thread? and yea if it's as simple as a new bleeder screw then I'd be happy to just pick one up myself with the proper specs etc.

just bummed cause now I need to get another bottle of rbf 600... should of got 10 like other members mentioned last time :bowrofl:

Yeah, gsg740 reported a similar problem on 08-17-2015. Sorry, I'm not sure how to link back to that thread. I'll have to figure out how. Hopefully, this helps for now.

oh damn faulty bleed valves? hope I don't have the same problem.

Still no delivery date on my car yet so the hd csc is just chilling in it's box.

Hope your car is up and running soon.

Btw which shop is doing the install for you?

car's still at the shop waiting for the new bleeder screw.

HOPING it's the screw is the issue and not the valve itself cause the screw is the easy fix ;)

shout out to Joe and Whitehead for being quick to respond.
