i DD mine so typically the top speed i hit going to and from work is 60ish on 2 stretches. i dont even use highways for my commute. but there's times where i lay into it and shift at high rpm and launches etc. also i have some nice curvy backroads where i live so i hit those in a "spirited" fashion lol

When you start driving hard, the car recognizes this and switches mode. You don't have to drive hard all the time. Shortly after you start driving "normally", the car switches back.

Not to interrupt the hilarity that is sure to continue in this thread, but a gentle reminder to the OP that discussion of street racing 'kills' is prohibited on this forum. Now back to our regularly scheduled trolling of the OP...

Wow lots of interesting things said here. So basically because I drive it soft/casually most of the time, that is why auto feel laggy when it is given full pedal.

If in full auto then most likely. Drop it into manual mode and should sort itself out since you control the shifts.

Not exactly. Any time you have not been driving hard for a while, the car goes into cruise mode. Once you get on it, it takes a second to switch modes. How you drove yesterday has no effect.

Gun it a couple of times *before* you want to drive aggressively. This will prompt it to switch modes, and it'll be ready for you when you want it. Note that if you're doing this on the street, slowing down between stretches can possibly put you back in cruising mode.
