I notice that in D, it feels there is less power even from a stand still.

Manual mode

The engine and transmission act differently depending on how you have been driving and what mode the transmission is in. I suspect what you are seeing/feeling/hearing is the car switching from "cruising mode" to "aggressive mode." YMMV

tip tronic? I dunno what you auto guys call it. paddle mode? want-to-be-manual-but-no-really-mode?

I am going to give you a paddling when I see you

@SS_Firehawk - I've read about cars de-tuning themselves when people drive like they own a prius.

OP just pull your battery for an hour to factory reset it. turn back on your car let it idle a minute or two then go on the road and WOT and do a few good pulls?

also to the OP idk if it was mentioned but to this asian's post the AT/ECU somewhat "learns from the way you drive. if you're always in D and drive normal/slow it'll sorta lean to that style of shifting and when you go WOT it's gonna hesitate and oddly shift.

How long does it take to learn? Like since I babied it during break in will it do this. Should I reset it?
