5 CEL at once; c1109, p0300, p3434, p2a00, p0171
I was driving my car fine earlier today, 0 CEL's, came home, turned it off and was about to leave again 40 minutes ago when BAM my 2009 370z had a rough stall, progressively choking before it died. Turned it on again, it had another little choke-fest and then idled fine for a few minutes - still no CEL - so I figured maybe it was a hiccup, who knows.. Drive 10 feet, CEL pops. I book it to Autozone to be greeted with 5 CEL's. FML.
c1109 Battery abnormal voltage p0300 Random multiple misfire p3434 Cylinder deactivation/intake valve control performance p2a00 Performance bank 1 sensor 1 (shocker.. more on this in a sec.) p0171 System too lean My z is also now idling at 1K So I had p2a00 before, replaced the sensor at a private garage because the BS dealer quoted me $900 vs $300. The light came back a week later, pulled it and it was the same light. Called the shop, they cleared the light and basically said "Dunno" So here I am pooping bricks, anyone got any advice or insight? I already searched and found that c1109 is potentially an ABS code instead of a battery code? For p3434 found this but it doesn't really detail how to fix it, just how to reset the ECM.. and for p0300 this ..the random multiple misfire is worrying me the most. Any help? |

The p0300 is pretty damn annoying because it can be many things. From ignition system which could be spark plugs, fuel system, possible vacuum leak to MAF sensors. I would say to start simple and go 1st with cleaning the MAF sensors then go from there.

Also look for vacuum leaks, I think this was the culprit for my p0300, hasn't come up since I replaced this piece

Many of the codes listed can be caused but many things, except the c1109 Battery abnormal voltage. Have the battery and alternator tested, it could be an electrical power issue causing the other problems.
