skid,abs,tdc light
Hi all
I know this has been covered before but none had solutions that worked for me . My skid abs and tdc light pop on randomly most of the time when the car is coasting and stay on until i turn the car off and may not come on again for another 20 mins or so into the next drive I have checked my brake fluid and changed all my pads. I had nissan check for an error code and they said it was from the rhr wheel speed sensor. I replaced the sensor and left the car battery disconnected for 12 hours but is still doing it. Any tips? Thanks al |

Beg, borrow, or buy an OBD/CAN scanner and see if any DTCs are still present. Clear if needed.
The brake fluid level needs to be FULL. It seems that touching the bottom of the full mark is not quite full enough for some Zs. But level is usually only a problem during hard acceleration or braking. The FSM has descriptions of what triggers most alarms.

Then I'd get the FSM (link in my sig) and see if it gave any tips.

Fillb ur brake fluid reservar to high mark.
Edit: dang southark370z beat me to it, next thing is the shield of the hub bearing that u replaced sensor at, u need to adjust that it sits properly and not touching the sensor.

Bad sensor wiring connection, start the car up have some one look at the dash board, while u wiggle the connection a bit see if anything pops up. You gotta look in to the service manual which u csn find in the DIY section.

Check the wheel bearing. That's what was causing it for me. I had the sensor replaced beforehand and it didn't solve anything.

So i called the nissan centre that checked the code . So when I picked the car up initially the service manager said it was the right hand rear wheel speed sensor. Then when i called up today and the code C1107 i realized that it was the right hand front sensor that was the issue. Raging. Ordered a new sensor for the front and will start again
