Try it and see if it works for you. You can always (carefully) wipe off any excess.

im just going to take the car to midas...they screwed up my o2 sensors in the first place. the oxy-acetalene torch fried them, both are non-functional, and they are bent sideways, no kidding like a limp xxxx lol. I can't even imagine how you get to the drivers side O2 sensor, its no accessible!!

Midas? Problem found. They might be one of the few shops worse than the dealer monkeys.

Changed my Pre-cat o2 sensors and that still didnt solve the problem. The manager thought about it, and figured out it could be a fuse. Traced the O2 heater and O2 sensor fuses back to the engine bay and it turned out to be a mini 15 amp fuse that was blown. after that was fixed, boom problem solved for now. I will drive it around a few hundred miles and run the codes to ensure they are solved. As of now i have the old downstream O2 sensors in, i'll see if that is a problem still. What a pain to get to that fuse box, its next to the battery and you have to remove your windshield cowl to get to it. Just happy this is fixed now, the fuse must have blowl when i went into limp mode when the vacuum line fell off, (midas screwed that up)
