Stuck in 5th gear...

I was driving home tonight....and went to shift from 4th to 5th and the indicator on the dash stayed at N. car shifted into 5th and stuck there....now I can't get it out of 5th ...any ideas????

Umm...if clutching dont wont work then.....csc?

Check urclutch fluid resrvar, if its empty its ur csc. Now u emptied the maste cylinder as well, u need both. Gl OP.

Csc is fine ...been upgraded...literally it's stuck in 5th...I am about to pull the tranny and dig in.....

next thing is welded clutch or bad tranny.

MT are not my specialty.. but my guess would be bent/broken shift fork inside the trans?

OP, can you move the shifter to other positions?
