VVEL question
Thanks for any replies, I've been having a issue i can't figure out. Last effort till i send it to the shop.
Anyways, while monitoring uprev i notice that b2 vvel's voltage is always less than b1's. ( have a rich air-fuel ratio issue in b2. less voltage in b2 vvel sensor = less valve lift= less air in cylinder= air-fuel ratio problem. MAF for b2 is always lower than b1 a idle but this could be caused by vvel not letting enough air in also.) so why would they differ? I looked at the fsm and it said it VVEL is controlled by crankshaft position sensor, accelerator pedal position, and vvel position sensor( shows the actual angle of the vvel). If it's operating how it should the valve lift on both banks should basically be the exact same is how im understanding it. Since air fuel ratio only effects injector pulse width long term fuel trim shouldn't be affecting valve lift only pulse width. In short, why is one banks vvel position on b2 different from b1 at idle only. Thanks for any replies! |
