Flex fuel kit
Hello eveyone,
Im working on making a bolt on flex fuel kit the will fit directly on the 370z/350z/q60/g37/g35. I wanted to ask if you guys where intrested in having a sytem like this made? Here are some of the details , the system will be plug and play without having to modify any harness in order to use this system, the vehicle will need to be flashed with ecutek to modify the signal from the maf and convert it to the flex fuel unit. I'm aware these kits are offered for the Gt-R guys but there are some diffrences that we would make unique to the z or g.If you guys would like to see a product like this please respond to this post or if you have any other feedback. Thank you. |

If I am reading correctly, the product you want to assemble is basically a PnP wiring harness with sensor kit?
If so, I might suggest to possibly consider 2 optional lengths for the harness. We have had customers putting their flex fuel sensors in the back above the fuel pump module (in the return line for return conversion cars). Since the VHR engine bays are so cluttered and lacking in real estate, putting them in the back has provided a location that doesnt contribute to additional complexity in the engine bay. |

Sorry for the late response guys, I will be updating pictures of the unit shortly. As for the car being used as the guinea pig we already have a 2009 Nissan 370Z and CJ that's a great idea mounting the unit in the rear of the car by the fuel pump but I would like to have a unit that a "Diy" can do from his home, we have in mind mounting the unit underneath the vehicle where the return line runs. This area already has a panel to protect it and it's high enough to not have any issue also these units will be weatherproof so customer will not have any issue with water or debris damaging these units.

The issue I see with this location is that all the return fuel kits use PTFE return lines, so it will not be as easy for people to cut the line in the middle and add hose ends.
