it seems whenever I put in new fluid for my power steering, as soon as I turn my car on, it disappears. I'm using D6 ATF with a 2011 base

Default Power steering fluid disappears?

it seems whenever I put in new fluid for my power steering, as soon as I turn my car on, it disappears. I'm using D6 ATF with a 2011 base 370z. I've noticed some leaking, however, sometimes my power steering works, but other times it doesn't. What could be the problem?

Sounds like you are getting air into the system. Often a result of low fluid level, so, with your leak, to be expected.

I'd fix the leak (plus make a good inspection of the whole system - FSM will be a big help) and see if that helps.

How simple would fixing the leak be? Is there a DIY anywhere?

Google it, u need to trace the piping from ur resevar to where it leaks, could be a loose nut, could be a bad seal, u need to find that spot first. Or just take it to a mech to get a quote.

You have to find the leak first before you know what needs fixed/replace.
