There may be an easier way to check but I'd try:
With car on ground, loosen strut with missing nut and then retighten. Check alignment and record numbers. With the wheel on the same side as the suspicious strut in the air (all load off of tire), loosen/retighten strut and check alignment. If numbers are significantly different than the first ("loaded") trial, then you may need to fix the strut attachment bolt.
