Add some octane booster and forget about it.

Or...just forget about it.

Octane booster doesn't help much. It will only raise the octane a few points. Either drive carefully for half a tank and top off with premium, or throw some Toluene in. That'll raise the octane. Just don't get any on your paint.

hmmm might be different brand vs brand... i noticed a difference

It was not 85 it was 86 I just miss-typed on my smartphone. I have not been able to tell the difference yet, I will just wait till half way and then fill up again. It was only 4 -5 gallons. I saw the price at Costco and I got excited $2.24.

lmao this has to be a trolling thread right? People are legit this worried about putting regular unleaded in their car vs premium?

Ive put regular in my pathfinder a number of times, and that car has 161k miles on the powerplant and Ive never had one issue.
