Yeah they are real mild for the gains we have seen.

We hope to be ready to test in about 2 months on the Stage 2s

We are not THAT far away! Come visit

The car was previously tuned, but no changes where made after the cams where installed before this graph.

I wonder what numbers this cam will make with aam manifold, eps 70mm tb's and ipp's heads with an ecu tek tune. Stock rev limiter and with a nismo or dry sump set up to increase the revs a tad bit more

With the nismo oil pump you can go up to 8500 rpms.. So I'm hoping it will make power all the way up there

Only thing with the nismo pump is sustaining that rpm could be catastrophic. It should make power up to that, from what 1slow posted ages ago.

since this was brought up, why is or is not the nismo pump the solution for higher then stock rev limits? I could never find factual information towards this product. with the nismo pump is 8k safe?

i guess i dont understand why people would go dry sump if this exists

thanks!

It's made tough enough to withstand the occasional mis shift or run up to 8500, not spending a lot of time in that portion of the tach.

Spot on, the factory pump will have problems with anything over 7500 really.

The NISMO Pump will take a few pulls to 8-8500 but not over an extended period of time, its just a good safety net really. The other issue with sustaining that RPM will be the VVEL system as it could start to float the valves.

If you are building a engine for higher RPMS is dry a sump the way to go then?
Along with new valve springs and so fourth when you're building the engine..
When I do my stroker kit engine build I would like to be able to safely be up in the higher RPMS with out worry 8500 or so
