Couldn’t have said it any better myself. Personally, I love N/A high revving engines. I have nothing against the Forced Induction guys and could not argue economics on which path makes more sense from a price/hp ratio, and I’ve considered going that route multiple times. However performance is more than just HP. I have tried to improve all aspects of performance on this build, brakes, suspension, chassis rigidity, weight reduction, etc.

Personally I have been satisfied with the power this car makes at 342whp, and cannot think of a time when I was driving on the street thinking I wish it had more power. It is usable, I don’t drive on interstates, instead I am fortunate to live an area with great driving roads with hills and tight curvy roads. Because of that I already very rarely reach the limits of this car and certainly couldn’t if I had 600hp.

I’m excited for a little extra power from these Cams, how much who knows? However, it’s more about adding to the excitement that already is from a higher revving NA exhaust sound which will just add to the driving experience I already enjoy.

You just have never been bitten by the boost bug. I was back in 1992, Haven't looked back since. Unless there is a turbo singing in the background, I am not happy.

I completely understand, not hating on boost at all. Just different preferences is all.

It sounds very similar to mine. They have a slightly different sound that I can't quite describe, but I like it. Looking forward to seeing what it does tmrw.

They won’t be tuning it tomorrow unfortunately. I am dropping it with them and they are going to work it in as soon as they can. Hopefully soon!

I like the slightly lumpy idle at the very beginning. A little bit more rawness to it.

Just spoke to Nik @Dynosty, he put me on the schedule for 7/18. Will be sooner if there is an opening maybe, but 7/18 at the latest. The suspense continues.

Good news bad news. Good news was that Dynosty had a dyno cancellation so they grabbed my car and strapped it to the rollers today. Bad news is that when they hooked the computer up Hal was getting 40-50% variances in bank to bank fuel balance. They are going to try and diagnose by Monday and put together a game plan.

The bank to bank fuel issue has been resolved, we didn't get the driver's side VVEL control module aligned properly when re-assembling.

We are back on schedule for the Dyno/Tuning session this Thursday.

I would say it was the one part of the install that wasn't on our radar despite multiple conversations with Dynosty & Z1 and reading from others who have conducted the install of these cams. The VVEL Modules have to be indexed perfectly and we did not realize until we had already removed the drivers side. We were then able to scribe the passenger side and had no issues getting it realigned.

Quite tricky.
