Just throwing this out there.. anyone think 3 inch intakes would be better for more power than stillen Gen 3 once the cam in is..since i have ported 63mm throttle bodies ported Upper and Lower Manifold as well

You'd be lucky to see a difference of more than 1-2hp, if anything at all.

Just a thought willing to try different parts to see If they make more power

5 -10 WHP over stillen Gen 3

but let me know when you Dyno test parts..

Z1 did some testing the weekend before I picked my car up from having the cams installed and they dyno tested the Stillen G3, Z1, and the Admin intake on the same car the same day. The results are as follows:

Stillen 323.75 WHP 265.24 TQ
Z1 323.23 WHP 266.37 TQ
Admin 322.46 WHP 265.34 TQ

I don't know what other mods are on the car, but they swapped intakes, dyno pull, swapped, another pull...you get the idea. I do know this car wasn't cammed, though.

I'd be interested to see a cammed car w/ 3" vs a cammed car w/ 2.5" like Z1. Also, just to play the devil's advocate and :stirthepot:, SOHO has a 2.75" intake in the works.

No difference. Really have to nit pick it and split hairs. Wonder if they did a tune for each intake?

When going from 2.5" to 3" you might need to rescale the MAFs to get the (if any) benefits from a larger intake. I know when I went from takeda to AAM I had to get a tune as the car did not like the 2.75" without something being tweaked.

Which brings me to bring up: AAM has had their 2.75" intake around for a couple years now.

I would be willing to test 3 inch intakes when I get my cam installed to see if they make more power over Stillen...
Still on the fence about dropping 640 just to test them out.. if I could get a deal or borrow some I’m all for it..

You are not going to see any difference in a meaningful way with 3" exhaust unless you are boosted. It is the law diminishing returns when it come to exhaust mods NA!

Other than 1Slow370's car, the other 2 cars that are close to me are running 3" intakes, 1 Admin, 1 RZG. 1 actually beat me @ 382whp/305wtq. There's been some suspicion/disbelief floating around about that, but I saw a lot of the same when I broke the record, so it's just part of it. Ray(don't know last name) tuned the car in house @ RZG. 2014 Q60.

Car here in Florida that made 360 with ppe’s, cbe, intake, and a hr upper on race gas. Tested on two different dyno’s. So let the haters hate, keep doing you.

Haven't seen that 1. 1 in Cali that made 259/296(Admin intakes and remote tune), the RZG car at 382/305(he told me a week or so ago that he had actually been on another dyno since and did 381 on it), and then mine at 377/299.
