Flat plane crankshaft?

What are your guys thoughts on this for our motors?

Random thoughts:
Would this be a drop-in mod? Spark timing would have to be changed - how difficult would that be? I noticed that different exhaust manifolds are needed for max improvement - what about the intake side?
Seems like a track-only mod to me (increased vibration with accompanying maintenance, plus you'd need to beef up some of the other internals to handle the higher RPMs for not a lot of extra ponies) but I'm more than willing to provide some moral support to anyone that wants to try it.

I would definitely be more difficult to implement than in a V8 application. You could fire 3 cylinders at a time, but the motor would be unbalanced. That's probably why it hasn't been done (im assuming it hasn't been done).

Just as i thought. Well its was a question

I asked 1slowz the same question and he said that the V angle of the vq37 engine does not allow for a flat plane crank. I believe Flat plane crank v6 engines usually have a 60 degree angle
