Yeah I wouldn't use the mishimoto though. The nismo T stat for the Vk56 is around the same, i think its 160*deg. Most people run the modified 300zx TT 170 Tstat with positive results. I imagine the VK56 and VQ engines share some components out of the same parts bin to an extent. For example I learned this evening a 300ZX TT clutch setup will bolt up to a 6spd Xterra transmission with a custom flywheel mated to a VK56 lol.
