It wouldnt really make too much difference, it only makes a difference in two occations that i know of, longentivity of the crank front bearings, and the damping stress of high engine rotations.

Basically the rear of the engine is where the transmision and load of the car at, on the front you have the load of engine parasites ie. Pumps, valves, alternator, the balanser is a heavy metal that will balance the rear and front loads so that the bearing wearnout on both sides of the engine the same speed, also keeping the vibrations low as well.

Removing or ultering these two will result in long term engine bearings rapid wearout if you dont mind then yeah throw light weight pulleys on and go racing, just remember to be ready to swap bearings sooner.

I've had mine over two years. Lots of mileage and fun times driving the car with it. No issues.

I could be wrong, but other than a few cases of the actual pulley itself failing (usually due to bad installs) I haven't seen any engine issues (spun bearings, broken crank, etc) that was linked to a lightweight pulley...and I've seen alot of folks that have been running them on our platform for years. It seems that a lot of the advise against them is based in theory of what could happen rather than what actually has happened (at least with VQ motors). Not trying to discredit anyone, just giving my personal observations.

It's a V8 crank that had a light weight pulley on it.

IMO changing out the stock dual mass flywheel on the other side of the crank has to be more harmful than changing out the stock crank pulley.

Pretty good amount with both, have worked with ATI very closely over the years.

What kind of questions do you have?

Actually, I was looking to purchase one for my VK56 (nissan Titan). I have seen them installed on the VK56 via pics online, but haven't found any part numbers for a bolt on setup. Seems like they have been one off designs for racing applications.

I was leaning more towards Fluidamper though, in terms of design.

I don't own a Z btw lol. I'm from the Titan realm. I just jump over here to see whats what.

Well, we are pretty good with the VK56 to haha.

ATI has always been our go to, they have built us many custom set ups over the years. But do not currently have an off the shelf unit for the VK. Ross Balancer's are another option for the VK.

Oh yeah lol, I've talked to Ray and Brian. Great guys.

I will have to look into Ross Balancers. Who would you recommend for a street application. Engine is going to stay NA.
