LOL Most definitely.but wanted to make sure that ECUTEK had my rom ready for my switch over.. also wanted to have the time to get all the parts and headers ceramic coated as well..
1 more month to go!

When is your tune date? Im interested to see what number you put up. Im going to talk to a tuner saturday to see if they are able to tune race rom II. i thinking about doing long tubes and e-85 tune.

chuckie311 09-16-2015 11:42 PM

Oct 12 is dyno on uprev tune and then flash to stock and dyno..
Install headers after that.
Oct 13 is dyno with headers and hfc on stock and uprev then retune to ecutek

So i just went down to talk with Harry at Z speed in sarasota. I wanted to discuss about going E-85, With talking to him, it was going to cost little more than i expected. So ill be sticking with 93 octane and tune with ecu tek race rom II. Im interested in comparing numbers, ill have basic bolts on's fi cat back, stilen g3s, fi lth, and fi 34row oil cooler. ill be tuned hopefully in dec,or jan. Far as he told me, a tune with uprev vs ecu tek with basic bolts on's shouldn't be to drastic, because the vvel won't really play into account much, since I'm not doing any head work just yet.

So i hope see your dyno sheet when i come back from korea in Nov.

Are you going with fast intentions..I would pay the extra and get them ceramic coated to keep those under hood temps down..
Are you going to do a before and after dyno?

Yes i may or may not, ill talk to F I when i place my order. Was it cheaper for you to get them coated on your own? Im getting dynoed after i install my long tubes. I dont feel like paying for more dyno time to get a baseline. All i have are FI tp, cbe, g3's. I would of done a baseline if he were to install my headers.

i didn't have a choice but to do it on my own Z1 doesn't offer the service to do it.. i did a lot of research on if it was worth it or not and asked some people that i know who have done it and they said to do it!
its worth the money you will see a good drop in temp by ceramic coating them.
i paid 190 to get it done..
i say pay for the extra dyno time its well worth it.you want to know if they made power though out the whole power band or not..you know how everyone bitches about why didn't you do a before dyno as well..
everyone says shorty's make no power but yet i provided 2 dyno of before and after of short headers from stillen that made 12whp up top and Fast intentions that made 0 up top but made great every where else..
