Sounds like it. It could be VVEL problems. Only way to tell would be to pull the engine and drop both pans. It would be hard to do it in the car.

Do a compression test.

Are there any aftermarket parts on the car?

By the way. I have heard cars run like this before. An older tech that had been around a long time said he recommended spinning in new rod and main bearings. I was like, OK. He did the work and the car ran like a champ afterwards. Surprised me. It was in a 1985 300zx.

I have also heard a car run like this and the oil pickup tube was caked with cooked oil. It had a we little hole for oil to flow through. The last car I have heard run like this was due to a bad oil pump. All cars were driven away and ran like new. Go figure.

Ok, thanks.

The man how have the car before me. Replace the engine by an other one (secondhand) and he have the same problem. The second engine has less noise than the first. Do you think it's a coincidence ?

I don't have the car yet. The seller have to send me documents and car.
The engine will be out of the car. I hope he will forget nothing.
When I have the car I send you picture.

If I have to change connecting rod what you suggest me ?
I have to change crankshaft and piston to ?
If I use low compression piston I have to use turbo or I can put it later ?
I don't seen anybody to use high compression piston...

No aftermarket parts. But the guy told me he like to run over 200km/h more than 15min. He do that a lot...
