Quick question that you might know does a manual transmission take ATF for power steering as well? Or is that different? Can't seem to find the answer anywhere besides people saying just throw in ATF and I'm like (automatic transmission fluid) and I'm manual.. I'm lost haha

Yes ATF fluid is the same used in the power steering regardless either MT or A/T.

Mine is sports package. I slowly modded my car as Im the only bread winner in the family. I started with suspension and brakes upgrade before I went to interior and exterior upgrade. Here is a picture of my Z now.

The auto tranny takes special fluid. That is what they are trying to say. Power steering fluid is regular ATF. Do not use Power steering fluid. You will contaminate the system. If you buy Nissan power steering fluid, it is Dextron/Mercron ATF. Read your owners manual. It will give the recommended fluids in the maintenance section.

If had to flush power steering fluid out of Nissan cars so many times it is not even funny. The pump raises cain and if left in long enough
it will eat up the rack seals.

haha spooler you work at a nissan dealer?

i think im going to end up flushing my power steering and using the original nissan power steering fluid... i mean will i even be able to tell a difference if i were to move up to a better brand for example motul?

if so would this be the right stuff? MOTUL Multi-ATF Power Steering Fluid (Automatic Trans Fluid)

I did year ago as a technician. Original power steering fluid would be wise if it somehow got the wrong fluid fill. I don't think motul makes auto tranny fluid. Could be wrong. MT fluid, yes.
