Well, sucked it up and order an oil cooler.
 

Yeap, it is hot here...LOL drove just a touch hard today for about 2min. and the oil temp went straight to 240 real quick on the interstate. It took 20-25min of driving at 75mph on the interstate to get it to cool back down to 220. Fast Intentions oil cooler kit on the way.

Damn. How hot is it over there in the Peach state?! Or just an excuse to buy one :bowrofl:.

Mine just has 1400 miles on it and I was thinking of doing this modification soon. I have noticed oil temp jumps real fast on this car. It isn't a daily driver so I like to have 'fun' with it when I do drive.

How easy is the install for a DIY? Also, does it get in the way of a CAI?

I'm cheap sometimes... LOL I learned at ZdayZ I needed one. I got on it the other day for just 2 min. I went from 220 to 240. Nuts!!!!! I watched to see how long it would take to get back down to 220. I always run 220 on the interstate going home at 78mph.


How hot is it???? HOT, heat warnings out multiple times this year of 110+. So hot that when you go outside at night at 10:00pm and do any physical work, you will sweat. I am in the Savannah, Ga area if you didn't know. I work in Savannah. So I commute 52 miles one way a day. The Z is my commuter car...LOL
