6MT guys, minor clutch pedal thump..

So, this "issue" is not really with the stick.. it's the clutch pedal itself..

I just came back from running a couple of errands and same thing.. it's a slight thump/clunk when releasing the clutch pedal almost near the idle/normal position for the pedal. When it thumps/clunks I also feel a slight/little kick in my foot..

I'm concerned about this and my Z only has 375 miles...

However, I have no issues at all when up-shifting/down-shifting and no issues at all with the Synchro-Rev...

Should I get this checked ASAP or you guys think it can wait until the first maintenance checkup...??

^ mine does that too. it sounds more like a little click for me. Almost sounds like the pedal is loose from the arm but I know thats not the case.

geez watch the video of the viper that set the record lap time at nurburghring on youtube. That is the definition of RWD shifter movement. Thing looks like it's bouncing around between first and sixth whenever the guy isn't braking. It's actually in the nurburghring post over in the track section.

I feel the thumping on the clutch pedal too. Have no idea what it is. Did you ever find out?

Mine does it to i have 11,000 mile and didnt notice till it had about 9,000 miles you feel it when your at a drive through or at a red light. Its not loud enough to hear when you are listening under the hood but you can feel it through the pedal.I think we are feeling the throw-out bearing and its probably normal but its kind of bothersome anyway.
