Someone told me that there is a system out there that will save your factory settings and allow you to change them back just for when you go to the dealership to have work done on it; then when that's over, you switch back to the good stuff. Anyone know if this is true? I'd think that the dealer would have some way to catch stuff like that.
Uprev is designed to have multiple maps, tuned, stock, and valet (not sure if there are more).

True but it will need to be a "stock" ecu when taken back to the dealer. Basically a detune flash "back to stock" with the software then when you come home from the dealer another flash with the maps you have saved. If dyno tuned by a performance shop such as Z1 the reflashing could be done for a small fee.

True, which is pretty simple after you get your tune and everything, but of course we have great shops like yours who will help when needed.

So there's no way for the dealer to catch on to it? For example, if some jag-off downloads nude pictures of children to his hard drive then hears the feds are closing in on him, he might erase the files, but the fed's computer experts are going to find evidence of them being there unless that person has serious enough computer skills to completely wipe the drive. I'm wondering if there is a similar way for the dealers to say "Yeah, it has stock values but I can tell it's been messed with." If not, I'm seriously interested.
