AC cut off when Engine hot?
Does the AC cut off when the engine gets hot? Ever since I put the CSF rad in, my AC is not working as well as it did before. The AC works ok when I first start up my car but after the car is warm, I only get cool air as oppose to the cold air I had before.
I will take my car in to get that looked at but was wondering if this is normal. I never noticed it before with my OEM rad. YzGyz |
I believe so because my car nearly overheated several times a couple of years ago in over 110F heat and direct sunlight, and the A/C would stop working.

My CSF made my A/C blow cooler than before.

I suspect you have a leak or the fluid was never filled all the way |
I'm going to let Ron take a look at it in aday or two.
Thanks YzGyz |
I was at the local shop this morning after work and the lady at the desk said the fan might have to be upgraded. It sound plausible but idk. The mechanics have yet to take a look but told me to drop her off Sat and they will take a gander.
This sounds right to you? This AM as I left from work, the AC was blowing NICELY!!! The air coming out of those vents was really cold. YzGyz |
Hell no! I live in south Florida and mine is ice cold on the hottest day.

My car is supercharged with the stock fans, no way your car should run hotter!
