Exactly, the lemon law is similar to that moss whatever act people use for aftermarket parts. The lemon is great to protect the consumer, but you, the consumer, must provide everything and prove the faults. I have yet to ever have to use it, but I know there are loopholes for the manufacture to screw you.

Example I know:
~Person bought a computer and had the laptop repaired 4 times, state says 3 is the limit and you are eligible for a replacement, and all 4 repairs were for the same issue. The company, we will call them Better Buy (tough one to figure out), filled out the repair under two different ID numbers, so the person ended up with 2 repairs and then another 2 repairs. Company took it and won because it "the person only received 2 repairs for the issue."

yea that makes sense also the consumer has to save his documentation to insure he don't get screwed, that way for he has proof that it's been to the dealer for the same thing or things repeated times.

just hope that dealer doesn't look into our forum or internet. I have seen that video posted in several big sites (incl. Jalopnik, autoblog etc)

370Z trannies giving pains-in-the-neck already?! Have you heard anything 'bout the ATs? I own an '04.5 Touring Coupe 350Z with an AT, and it's been f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s, so far. After doing some searches, I've been able to find out that MTs in Zeds are much more troublesome than ATs. Weird, it's usually the other way around in other auto makes.

Don't take it personally... that just happened to be the car my parents let me drive when I first got my license. It might just have sucked because it was my mom's instead of my dad's... "What's a dipstick?"

No, just saying that blaming that behavior on the 6th gear syncro going out is iffy at best. It may be possible that it had something to do with it, but it's not real likely.
