never seen my rev/shift light illuminate when applying full throttle...it may have logged a fault code; my shift light doesn't come on till around 7400rpm's & shifts @ 7500 by itself-in (D)...the shift light is adjustable and has nothing to do with the shift point of the car;;;it's just a reminder.
But what you are explaining is something different.....flashing a couple seconds before it goes. Does the rpm's ramp up while it's not going?
