Got a better video of the whine in action in case anyone would like to make some educated guesses...already ordered a replacement clutch that comes with the pilot bushing, should be here this coming tuesday

A new clutch ain't gonna fix that (I don't think so anyway, still think its the tranny).
So, have you had this whine diagnosed yet?

Does it whine when you turn the steering wheel at all (after the car is warmed up)?
I had a whine that sounded remotely like the one above. Thought it was trans related for the longest time. Turned out to be the power steering reservoir. Got the updated one (per tsb), no more noises. The whine itself sounded alot like a supercharger whine.
