Has anyone ever changed their transmission gears? Who could do this type of work? How much hassle would it be? My premise for this thread is the thought of going

Who could do this type of work? How much hassle would it be? My premise for this thread is the thought of going with a higher rear end and changing only 6th gear to pull your highway RPM down.
