The point of the baffles is to allow oil to travel towards the pickup. Oil flow in that direction is good. If you do decide you want to make it 2-tone like that by painting or powder coating and then sanding, let me know because you would want it un-anodized to start with. You wont want to have to sand through anodizing, its much harder than the aluminum and soaks into the surface as well. It would be a nightmare to sand through it!

Well in my line of work, it is a common practice if you see a problem say something, the worst thing that can happen is your wrong, i personally would change the output direction to cause less problems.

By the way its a little off topic, but i am looking for a reputable company that can mill me titanium. Maybe you can recommend some one?

My car is MB.....LOL I am good with whatever RED color comes out. A little darker is fine. I am not going to be that picky about it. Getting everything to color match is just about impossible. NO worries from me.

I think that anyone with a mill can machine it, I have friends that have before, they just used careful consideration of tooling. Its an expensive material to machine anything of size with since its such a wasteful manufacturing process - example, this oil pan looses about 90% of its material weight from start to finish.

At any rate, I am sure pretty much any machine shop will take a shot at it for you.

Forgot to mention that the location of the 2 recesses for removal are position with 2 overhangs of the upper pan, so these would be the easiest places to get a tool in there.

I like your changes. My Z is NA, therefore the turbo oiling holes are not required.

Possible features to add:

1. Baffle flap inspection holes.
2. Raised baffle that also encloses the pickup more ala AM Performance.
3. Threaded holes for jam screws to remove pan.

One more feature request to evaluate:

Fabricate the top horizontal plate baffle to overhang the outer edges of the vertical baffles in the pan by about 0.75" to help prevent oil from rolling over the top of the vertical baffles in high G turns.
