Also thanks to FL 4motion for reminding me to make this last week. I had the material sitting around forever.

When you have another emotion break down. Feel free to text me. :D

AM made about 20 pans. Think 8 was for the race cars, and the rest was sold to the public. Maybe 6 forum members have one.

this pan prevents oil starvation in sustained hi g turns on the track. It helps lower the chance your engine goes boom. It also prevents oil sloshing to and fro as you zip thru the shorter back to back turns.

Nicely done Phunk.

Tail of the Dragon......at 7,000rpms.:eekdance: While your passenger does this :barf: and you don't want to do that because the motor went pop.

jwick 05-29-2015 02:24 PM

Damn you Charles. Every time I think I've gotten the built motor fund needs figured out you go and release something else I 'need' :ugh2:

jwick 05-29-2015 02:42 PM

Charles did you ever determine the increase in oil capacity of the new pan. I'd be interested in one but I'm running the Wolf pan spacer. I don't want to loose too much oil capacity by going to this pan.

phunk 05-29-2015 02:51 PM

Not yet, I still have to find someone local with a pan. There is a shop about a hour away that probably has one but I havent had time to get up there yet. If the spacer doesnt put your pan past the crossmember, you wont lose anything. Even at the same depth this pan will hold more due to its straight walls to the floor opposed to large radius.

Phunk, will the options be determined upon deposit. I would like the 2 drains with plugs, and are you still planning on the pry points for removal? Would prefer this over pressing a bolt into the mating surface to release the pan.

phunk 05-29-2015 06:13 PM

Options can be determined at any point up until production. Yes there will be 1 or 2 pry points added.

List updated, we might make it to the 10!

This pan is so sweet. I'd be all over it if I hadn't just for the first time in almost two years cleared my parts shelf off.

Good work Charles on pushing our platform!
