Clutch sticking

Hey my clutch sticks when the car is cold. Only once in a while. After driving for about a minute it goes back to normal. Once again only happens once in a while. Any thoughts on what's causing this to happen?

Had the same symptom with my clutch. Needed Clutch Slave Cylinder replaced. There is a TSB out there that suggests that replacing the clutch fluid may provide the fix, but that was a waste of money. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I see these types of things as an opportunity for an upgrade.

if you are talking about what i think you are talking about, i had the same issue with my 07 350Z. is it to where you push the clutch down and the pedal doesn't come up as quick and there is a slight delay? also, only happens when it's cold out but once warmed up, it goes back to normal?

not sure for the 370Z, as this is my first auto. but for the 350Z, people were saying that replacing the slave cylinder fixed this.

Yup only happens when cold. Or if I havnt driven for the car for more than 2 days.

A CSC failure is around the corner, don't wait for it.

How much do they generally go for? What about install? I'm new to this sorry

This is what you need to avoid future failure. Per Nissan the fluid should be replaced with dot 4 (per tsb).

Ok thanks!!!! Any idea about installation? Is it the same as doing a clutch job?
