Transmission fluid? which one
Yes, i did search, no I dont have much time. I was really hoping someone could help me quick. Last autocross I had after the 6th run the fluid started to get hot and the clutch would go to the floor with little feedback, I did check my reservoir and there is crap in there. I do not have a motul dealer around me to get the motul 300. Does anyone know of a good replacement? Ive read some people getting theres changed at nissan with GTR fluid under warranty, can someone elaborate on how they had this done? If not is there anything I can get at a local orileys or parts store that anyone would recommend.
btw it is a 2013 sport, I'm sure the csc will fail but is not covered under warranty. |

You would be better off ordering a bottle of Motul RBF600 for the clutch fluid. GTR fluid is nothing special. And if there's crap in the cylinder the csc is on its way out.

The few posts I've seen say it wouldn't be covered. The throw out bearing is singing as well as crap in the fluid at 25000 miles, guess I'll take it in and see if they'll do it.. any tips?

What kind of fluid are we talking about here?
Title of the thread is transmission fluid - for MT, I recommend Redline MT-85 Clutch pedal hitting the floor has nothing to do with transmission fluid. But seems like Chuck and jwick have you on the right track: Motul RBF600 fluid and get ready for CSC failure. Buy ZSpeed's heavy duty version or Z1's external slave kit

They will never know I race the car trust me..
I think the fluid got hot and that was why the pedal went stiff to the floor, it still came up but was stiff and had little play |

First of all the clutch reservoir is way too small for anything other than street driving. I use a turkey baster to remove the fluid on a regular basis and there is usually a little bit of dark matter at the bottom and I wipe it out and refill. I have been doing this since I got my car (2010) good preventative maintenance, quick and easy, I even do my brake fluid, never letting the fluid change color.

The same way the guy who owned that Prius thought Toyota would never know that he was pressing the gas and brake at the same time
