Yeah that was one of my things with the FI flexplate, it looks too stiff

Do you have pictures of the FI flex plate and maybe the material Tony used? I can have my team take a look at it. I believe Tony mentioned on his Facebook that he's using the SFI regulation on the flex plate, so there shouldn't be any big problem on the material if it's designed properly.

the pictures i saw of it where from way back who knows maybe they changed it wasn't cycy89 or something supposed to have had them build it? was his car every finished?

Flex plate is the part that connects the 7AT to the engine. One side is the engine and the other side is the torque converter. The teethes are for the starting motor.

It's a three hours or less job and any dealership or performance shop should be able to do it.

I need u to explain me in detail what this could do for us auto guys. I dont know much so help me understand.
Does this mean we can go FI without worrying about transmission failure or is this just to delay the inevitable ?
