Hfc/test pipes, pullies are fairly inexpensive. You can port the OEM upper manifold as well.

Porting the upper manifold yields little to no gains from what I seen being discussed on this forum. Porting the lower manifold is where you see most of your gains.

You mind as well save your money instead of nickel and diming yourself for a couple extra horsepower which your not really gonna notice. Either be happy with the mods you have or go TT or build a badass N/A car.

The car is pretty maxed out from the factory. You can add some HFC or Long-Tube headers and get tuned. Anything else like porting is going to get you very minimal gains. Options are pretty limited unless you plan on going forced induction.

There's no such thing as a reasonably priced big power NA build. For what 1slow370 had in his, he could have had a 600whp turbo setup.

Thats what i was afraid of, i do Also have FI test pipes, it would off been cool to be able to add a supercharger but $6,000 to $10,000 its a hole lot of money. Does Anyone knows if there is a turbo kit for under $5,000?

Nope. A turbo setup will cost you at least $10k. Probably closer to $15k once you figure in all the supporting mods.
NA will get you to about 330whp before the cost curve for more power gets really steep. That's a very quick car. That's where a reasonable person stops.

Chuck is right on the power thing. If you truly what more and the most bang for the buck, FI is the answer. I did a crap ton of research before I made the purchase. It's just a big investment but you get a lot out of it. If you skim my build thread, you will get a fairly good bases on what the adventure entails. It is both suspense and drama show all rolled up into one. I gave a basic but realistic estimate and breakdown on cost of going FI. I'm not done with my build but it wait is both killing and exciting at the same time.
If you wan to run with the big blocks and track car turn street legal monsters cars, FI is the answer. IF you wan to hang with the affordable fast cars, your already there stock. YzGyz |

In fact you'll be closer to $20k if you start messing with suspension too. God help you if you want rims or body work done. Boost is not cheap |
