Default Mystery SES light

So I leave my house this morning at it's about 37 degrees and within about a minute my SES light pops. Everything feels normal but I notice in about 5 minutes that the car seems to be idling a bit high, over 1000 rpm and over 1200 with the a/c pump going. I let the car warm up and restart it after about 15 minutes of driving and the temp guage is steady and it's still on and still idling high. I have a code reader but can't check it until late tonight. Anyone have any ideas? BTW car has Stillen intakes and nothing else.

pop the hood and make sure all the hoses are on properly, i believe i read on here this happening to someone else and his intake house had popped off or was loose
