Both times it bottomed out and had no pressure. I got an update, they replaced the master but said it still wasnt holding pressure like it should, so theyre going to replace the slave too. But the slave is covered under the warranty this time because its been less than a year since they replaced it.

For others reading this thread, master & slave should both be changed together. In fact ZSpeed will not warrant theirs unless master is changed too and lines are flushed until they're clean. Failure to do both is surely asking for trouble and if your dealer was at all competent, they should have known and explained this.

BTW, my 40AE is at 52K and I am expecting it to fail at any time. I have the ZSpeed in hand and have already warned my dealer that it's had some intermittent softness and I will be bringing it in with the ZSpeed CSC. I just expect them to pick-up cost of MC and labor.

i bought my car at 54k, and it failed at roughly 60k, so thats a good call. And when I was getting the slave replaced, they made no mention of replacing the master, but offered to put in any other clutch/tranny parts I wanted since they were going to have it out anyway.
