Default HELP! Electrical woes

This doesn't exactly fit in the audio/video section, so I'm posting it here for help. I've searched, looked at service manuals but I can't find a solution.

Long story short, last week I removed the rubber grommet on the passenger firewall to run some wires through and forgot to plug it back up properly. Yesterday I had to drive the car in heavy rain and water dripped through the firewall on the passenger side and must have shorted out the BCM. My flashers were blinking erratically, my trunk opened by itself, wipers and door locks were going crazy. I managed to get it home, pulled the battery and dried everything off. Today I drove the car again and it appeared that everything works like how it should, except for my turn signals. It doesn't blink the signal inside nor outside. My hazard button works properly and I confirmed all lights are blinking inside and out. I've checked the passenger kick panel and did not see any fried wires.

I have the PDF service manual for the Z but it doesn't have the wiring schematic. I've checked both fuse boxes near battery and driver kick panel and all fuses look intact. I was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction. Is there a turn signal relay somewhere that I can check?

Default Signal lights

I looked at the same stuff you probably did. To me it appears the Hazard lamp circuit is separate from the signal lamp circuit. (It was labelled Hazard, not something like Hazard/Directional Lamps) It's been a long time since I've farted around with auto wiring but wouldn't the Hazard circuit and the Signal circuit then have their own 'flasher cans', or whatever you call those round aluminum cylinders that hold the relay switches, if they are on independent circuits?
How about looking to see if there are two of 'em. They ought to be marked where they plug in. If there are two, just rule out which is which by pulling either until you lose the Hazards. Maybe the signal one is your problem and it's NFG. Maybe they're interchangable (I highly suspect that) and you can swap one for the other.
Anyway, they can't be huge dollars. I will have to look at my car to see if the signals and hazards power the same lights. If they do and work for the hazards I'd guess the circuit for the signal side is likely sound, leading me to think the flasher can or where it plugs in.
Maybe they even share the same can and the signal circuit internals are ****** and the hazard set is OK. (they don't make flashers solid state now, do they?)
The only other thing I can think of is go back over your attempts at drying things out. When computer stuff gets wet I always see the hand-held hair dryers come out of hiding.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Make sure to let us know what you find out. It might just be handy for someone else down the road and could be pulled up in a search.
