Pressure Guage wouldn't do it, since if it drops, you're pretty much done at that point fairly soon after...as in you you better be ready to shut it down as soon as it drops.

If you don't have one already, insist that they give you an extended warranty since you are nervous about the engine swap. They might go for it.
