I actually just checked Z1 and it looks like they don't offer any discount for SRM vs Non-SRM manual transmissions. And the price is right at $2K. But Courtesy Nissan has it listed for <$1700 here. I can't seem to find an option to check fitment for the Sport trim, so I would assume that link is for a MT without SRM.

SRM is not a physical component within the transmission, or a different clutch setup - its electronic in nature utilizing data from several sensors, and the ECU.

Re-use those sensors from your existing transmission on a new one.

I get that SRM is electronic in nature. But I did not realize that the sensors were external to the transmission and could just be swapped over. I wonder why Z1 offers a drop down menu to chose SRM or Non-SRM. I can't imagine the SRM version comes with all the necessary sensors if the price is the same.

I will admit I haven't bothered to look for over two years when I put the turbo on.
