Saving money, I would buy one part every month until summer hits. So i'll buy the first part next month. Not trying to install the parts when its still winter weather haha

Personally, I would stay away from cat deletes. You will get fumes you don't want. That was one thing I hated about my 350z when I first did test pipes. The smell was killing me.

Next to my turbo, my favorite mod is the FI exhaust with 18" resonators. The note of that exhaust is amazing to say the least. Especially after 4K rpm. Then when all that forced air gets blown through it, it really sings. :driving:

If you go with test pipes or lth and non resonated it will be extremely raspy. Some people love that, others don't. It does sound mean but it sucks starting your car at 7am and pissing off your neighbors. Not to mention it gets a bit annoying at that time in the morning on your drive to work. You could go with 12" resonators also if you want a little more aggressive sound than the 18"'s.

Exhausts really change the sound of the car and not the driving experience though. Not anything you can tell by the butt dyno anyway.

These headers flow! Im using them to push 15lbs of boost through. So your money would be better spent on other breathing mods.

No CAI on the list? I will have a set for sale soon when I change my intake piping from 2.75" to the 3". But this will for sure require a tune, but since that's your plan.........

Im not wanting to turbo or SC the car lol
The parts I have bought already are the Stillen Gen 3, GTR push button and Transmission cooler.

I like more of the Apexi'RS, Stillen exhaust sound lol I hate it when I hear cars that sound like muscle cars haha loud and annoying.

TopgunZ 02-04-2015 02:39 PM

I was not saying you should get a turbo. But I was saying that the sound of the FI exhaust is straight dope. It does not sound "muscly" but more exotic.

COSMO 02-04-2015 02:43 PM

But if you do be sure you go BP. He just wants to sell it.. lol

Im still learning all of these acronyms, but what does BP stand for?

gbrettin 02-04-2015 02:49 PM

HFC - High Flow Cat
F.I. - Fast Intentions or Forced Induction... depending on context.
BP - Boosted Performance (Twin Scroll Turbo Company)

There goes another good thread. As if you two didn't already have plenty of room to bicker back and forth. I refuse to choose sides however, it gets OLD.

Joker I absolutely love my Fast Intentions exhaust. I'm thinking of going with HFC's as well. If you beat me to it let me know what you think.

Yea...I would expect those kind of talk from people who drive mustangs xP
I will! I'm actually thinking about ordering some Berk HFC. Do you know anything about these HFC?

COSMO 02-04-2015 03:30 PM

I would go with kintetix hfc because the internal material is better than the berks and its a bit cheaper.. Being naturally aspirated you still need some backpressure or you will loose torque..
