2009 370z Losing Acceleration

so you can actually rev it right thru to redline but the car barely moves? sounds like worn out clutch to me. Do you notice a foul burnt clutch smell?

Do you notice a foul burnt clutch smell? you'll notice it more in the engine bay and underneath near the bell housing but the stock clutch really stinks when you ride it like when reversing up a hill so i'm sure you'd notice it

but if the engine feels like it's struggling to rev while in gear (sort of feels like there is a massive lag and then the throttle is being eased open very slowly) then you have a different issue.

does the issue occur when hot or cold or regardless of temperature?

If your vehicle is accelerating poorly it is fairly easy to tell. It feels as if the vehicle doesn’t want to respond when you put your foot down, or it does but not instantly as you’ve become accustomed to. It can also feel as if your vehicle is trying really hard to pull itself along. This ‘sluggishness’ can be easily fixed by having the vehicle serviced with a spark plug change.

This is the main symptom of my car

The way you describe you problem on your first post is different from this statement. Sluggish is far different from clutch slide meaning your revving but the car wouldn't just run. With sluggish it feels like the car is having a choke or a lag in throttle response.
Have it check and cross your fingers that its a spark plug cuz thats easy cheap fix. The former you need about close to 2 grand.

Update:

It was not the spark plugs! I might literally start crying, lol.

I can't think of anything else that could be wrong, except the clutch needs to be replace. So I'm taking it in this Monday

Change the transmission oil, engine oil, changed the spark plugs, all other liquids are fine........ Yea I think I'm done. There's goes my tax return lol

I was hoping we were wrong and you were right about the spark plug.
Oh well at least it gave out on tax season otherwise it would been more painful.
