Since a Nismo is 350 AT THE CRANK it is impossible to generate the numbers you did without the Dyno calibration faking it. Probably uncorrected numbers rather than standardized SAE readings. I had a corvette that dyno'd at 442 (Uncorrected)...Plug in the industry standard SAE corrections for temp, humidity, elevation etc and it was 410......There Ya go! I wouldn't go around bragging on those numbers cause people who know how this stuff works (and how easily it is manipulated) will just laugh at you... uhh dont ask.... it was my first time going to the track. I had only given 3 runs, for $40.
I kept screwing up every run. My best run was 1st run 13.8, with reaction time .6xx... i started of easy, not flooring 1st gear. 2nd run 14.1 dues to spinning wheels at the start... 3rd run 14.xx due to misshift... Hate to say it, but i think the numbers were bad, due to my poor driving. |

Ok, well i guess if everyone so skeptic about the numbers. I will do everyone a favor, and do another DYNO run somewhere else...
Then will post the results to make everyone happy with lower numbers... or upset again with higher numbers! lol |

HP is not a measure of how fast your car is. Acceleration times are. Still...you don't have a "330 WHP" car. |

Again, this is why dynos are merely devices to tune, not measure power. They give you the ability to repeatedly run the engine in 4th or 5th gear all the way to redline in a safe, controlled environment where you can monitor and thus tune the engine's vitals. One could program a dyno to have a stock Toyota Corolla put down 400 WHP. Here is what a realistic "330 WHP" looks like on a Z. This is the chart of Semtex's car with all the Stillen bolt-ons on a DynoJet: Last edited by JoeD; 10-11-2009 at 03:39 PM. |
