Limey is right, not my forte, but iono I think when I punched the rim it made the shield kinda settle back into place

Ok ill try to elaborate, so It was right under my driver side front wheel, so I went and punched the rim and I heard it shake, so I punched it harder and it went clunk, then as I drove off it didn't happen. I also looked straight at it and I said don't fkin move. It might have helped. But yea try punching the rim.

i had a similar issue happen to me last year at the parking lot at my job...it was the front wheel too (can't remember which side) but what i did was grab the dust shield from behind the rotors and "moved" it back and shaking it...by which i mean just apply a bit of pressure to it...then it was gone

Or u can just punch it
