John, can you please explain the pros/cons of the CMC rebuild kit vs buying a new assembly?

Have to save some pennies for the whole setup though. I plan to change the clutch, flywheel, CSC, and Master cylinder. Last 3 question(s): - Do you recommend rebuilding the master cylinder or replacing? I saw a rebuild kit for $18 which is better then paying $110 for a new one. - Do you guys sell stock clutches? I plan to race the car NA but keep it a daily driver. - Any suggestion for an upgraded clutch? I may consider an upgrade just trying to keep cost down. Rebuilding or replacing the master cylinder is never a bad idea on the Z34 as they are known to have problems. I will say that we have never had to replace the master on the Z1 shop car and it has 36K ABUSED and track tested miles. I would suggest the Z1 clutch and flywheel combo over going with a stocker as the Z1 flywheel will allow for quicker revs.

I'm a busy guy which means I would just buy a new one to install as time is not a very big thing that I have on my hand. If you have a little garage time for yourself the rebuild kit may be the best for you.

Can you please PM me a price for the CSC elimination kit plus an OEM CMC assembly shipped to 78731? It looks like the kit comes with a SS clutch line, but if not, please include that as well. I can't think of anything else, but if there is something you think of that would be good to go ahead and do while the transmission is out, let me know (I'll be good with the stock clutch for a while). Thanks

Thanks again for the help! Can you quote the following to 33186 - CSC elimination kit - Z1 clutch/flywheel combo (Does this include the clutch/flywheel install tool? If not please include) - Steel braided clutch line (Is this included in the CSC kit? If not please include) - Trany fluid and crush washers (redline) - Diff fluid and crush washers (redline) Am I missing anything? Thanks! Chris P.S. Can you include wheel spacers? 20mm rear and 15mm front. P.S.S What is the difference between the standard full face and lightweight solid hub full face aside from the obvious weight savings?

My review after break in and one autocross event:
So to start off a little background story, this is my first manual car. I learned how to drive on the stock clutch. So obviously changing the feel of it scared me a bit. I got the spec stage 1 clutch and their steel flywheel, along with my Z1 CSC elimination kit. Now the pedal feel is obviously night and day to what it used to be. No sloppy pedal feel and the engagement point is now closer to the bottom. The clutch is firm to a comfortable point and I can feel where it engages much better. Also after the 500 mile break in I had one autocross event where the car performed very well, no issues with clutch related tasks all day. Overall the kit gives me the peace of mind knowing I won’t have a CSC fail while I am driving and it is so far a great investment. If you guys have any questions about how it performs feel free to PM me! Great job Z1 this is an awesome product!
