Z1 Motorsports Full Differential Upgrade Kit

Z1's full differential kit includes everything you need to upgrade and update your rear driveline. If you are going to remove the differential why not only do it once.

With the Z1 kit you have new differential bushings, a better differential cover, and the best oil on the market. We even include a tube of ultra gray so that you have everything but the tools to complete the job.

When the stock rear differential bushing fails you often end up with a lot of slop and even clunking in the rear end. By upgrading to the urethane bushings you stiffen up the rear end to handle harder launches and smoother shifts. Plus with the upgraded Motul fluid you don't have to worry about oil breakdown at higher temperatures.

Excess heat inside the differential case can lead to premature failure of every component, especially the factory viscous differential which also becomes less effective at higher temperatures. Not only does the heat damage the internal components including bearings and seals, but often times we have found the factory and aftermarket differential bushings melted. The best way to combat high temperatures inside the differential is to transfer the heat outside. This finned differential cover acts as a heat sink which allows the heat that builds up in the fluid to be transferred into the cast aluminum cover where the heat can be released through the integrated fins into the cooler ambient air rushing over them.

Another good way to fight higher temperatures is to increase the amount of fluid. This cover increases fluid capacity by .5L. The additional fluid helps keep temperatures down by increasing the amount of time it takes for temperatures to rise, lessening the likelihood of overheating your differential.

It's less if you change to ES bushings. Call us and we can get that going. All whiteline bushings are now black in color.

Its very common to blow the stock Nissan bushing (I did it at ~50k miles). It is not covered under Nissans powertrain warranty, and the part is the entire rear subframe at ~$900. The whiteline bushings rock, and while you have your diff down, its a REALLY great time to do the nismo cover and to replace the fluid. I cant recommend this upgrade highly enough!!
