Motion Lab has Stillen SC & Greddy TT kits, and many drivetrain components available!
Motion Lab Tuning has what you need to make the most of your stout VQ37, transforming it from N/A to a forced induction beast. The Stillen intercooled supercharger kit is available and will allow you to bump the power up quite a bit while keeping that N/A response and feel. We have tuned an engine utilizing this setup and the power band turned out to be excellent and didn't slouch at all as the engine approached redline! Producing 420whp @ 7500 rpm and 325wtq @ 6000 rpm, this kit is a real power maker! (With our tuning of course ) Making this power at only 9 psi, this kit definitely leaves plenty of room to grow. Features of the Stillen kit:

Greddy TT Kit
Making smooth power all the way to redline is no joke. That sort of efficiency isn't seen by many setups even on a good day. The Greddy kit was masterfully engineered allowing proper headroom to really make use of the potential seen in the stout VQ37 especially when being force-fed by twin 20G turbos Here are some features of the kit:

Clutch Kits
Looking for a clutch that will be able to hold the power of your modded VQ? The stock clutch mated to the 6MT is a robust unit capable of holding somewhere in the realm of 285 ft/lbs from the factory. Surpassing this capacity won't even be a concern for the average DD. If you're planning on putting the car though it's paces on the track or ripping up the pavement with your boosted setup however, an aftermarket solution will make sure that the power makes it to the ground 100% of the time. ACT offers the Street Heavy Duty clutch kit for you guys putting down numbers. With only a marginal change in pedal feel, the clutch is capable of handling 435 ft/lbs of torque! The TT Nismo 370z mentioned above is making use of this great kit and has absolutely no problem putting the power where it is supposed to be, when you want it to! Pricing for this kit is only $640 + shipping. Exedy has never let us down, and offers a full line of clutches for the VQ family. Backed by decades of experience in making both O.E. and racing spec clutches to suit various needs, Exedy clutches will consistently perform as they should without a hassle. The Exedy stage 1 clutch kit is the entry level clutch kit available for the 370z/G37. With the ability to hold 301 ft/lbs at the wheels consistently, this will suit the needs of most weekend warriors looking for a clutch that will handle some abuse while not breaking their leg. Close to factory pedal feel is retained and the use of an organic clutch disc gives long life and user friendly operation. This kit comes with a Exedy flywheel as well to replace you factory dual mass unit. Priced at: $1200 + shipping. The Exedy stage 2 clutch kit takes it a step further with a single cerametallic disc capable of handling more heat and power suitable for the average turbo/supercharged build. The torque capacity has been increased to 342 ft/lbs at the wheels. As with most street/track clutches, some chatter will be present during light throttle and start up situations. Due to the disc material however, the setup is rather forgiving in terms of slippage characteristics and will not be too terribly different in feeling from the stage 1. Also you have no need to worry about increased drivetrain shock due to the higher clamp loads since Exedy has you covered with sprung disc center dampers reducing the impacts of sudden load on the transmission. This kit comes with a replacement flywheel as well and is priced at: $1300 + shipping. PM me for best pricing! These motors move a lot of air! High compression motors feel great with a little boost pushing through them and a good tune. The Stillen kit provides more of a linear feel as it has to use RPM to spin the blower to build additional boost. The twin turbo set-ups have a smooth transition at low boost levels. You feel the boost pressure come on and by the time your wastegates open you better hang on! The more boost you add the harder the peak torque will hit and the crazier it becomes. "Freight train" describes what the GReddy kit feels like on these VQ37HR motors.
Just let us know if you need any pricing or information on the available forced induction kits on the market. Thanks for all the PM's so far! Thanks, Alex Goodwin AlexG@motionlabtuning.com |

For those of you setting up your vehicles to be competitive at the track, Cusco has you covered with a selection of differentials. With two models available, both manual and automatic transmission cars are on equal footing with the offerings available from Cusco. The Cusco Type-RS differential is made for both the manual and automatic transmissions. Available in 1, 1.5, and 2 way variants, this diff is customizable enough to suit any of your needs. The Type-RS features a spring setup that is designed for low initial torque to be transferred to the wheels. Allowing the torque to be transferred more gradually keeps the plates from being damaged through shock and makes the differential more sensitive to user input. This results is a longer lasting, more durable differential. Ideal for mildly tuned vehicles being used for drifting and circuit racing. We have the Type-RS is available for $1475 + shipping. Then there's the Type-MZ differential available for those of you with automatic transmissions. The Type-MZ uses cone plates and increases the number of clutch plates over the RS (from 8 on each side to 10) to increase initial torque. Due to the solid engagement characteristics of the Type-MZ, it is more suited for drifting and drag racing. Available for $1475 + shipping. Features of the Type-MZ:

Please note the dyno plot posted will not be your typical results right out of the box with the Stillen kit. The GReddy kit also requires a few supporting mods to make everything work. Just contact us with any questions, we are standing by to assist you!

Getting the plots edited to post up but we made right about 475whp @ 7.8psi. Great gains for only an additional 2psi! Car recorded a 35whp gain from 2PSI. We were able to smooth the torque curve and shift the plot slightly to the left with the new VVEL control from UpRev. Contact us for more information on this very potent twin 20g set-up offered from GReddy.

Just got back from SEMA, lots of great new products coming up in the new year. Contact us regarding any options currently available.
The Stillen supercharger graphs displayed are with the 928 motorsport upgraded impeller and a custom tune. These results will not be your typical "out of the box" results. Thanks, Alex Goodwin AlexG@motionlabtuning.com |
