Z1 370Z / G37 Clutch and Flywheel combo

This package fits 09 370Zs and G37s and is capable of holding the power of all naturally aspirated and, depending on the options you choose, most forced induction applications up to 500 ft-lb tq. At the same time reducing the total weight of the clutch and flywheel assembly to 34.45 lbs vs 49.2 lbs stock.

Z1 Motorsports brings you the ultimate all around street clutch kit for your your 350Z or G35, suitable for forced induction applications.

Features a high pressure plate clamping force , while maintaining a low spring load. A low spring load eases lateral force on the main thrust bearings in your engine, which is especially important during "dry" start-up. High pressure plate spring loads result in high lateral forces being exerted on the crank when the pedal is depressed and the is disengaged. Which can cause premature thrust bearing failure resulting in "crank walk" and ultimately engine failure.

The sprung hub disc is lined with a high quality friction material.

We recommend this clutch combination for all 370Zs / G37s with upgrades up to 500 ft-lbs torque.

Clutch kits come complete with pressure plate, friction disc, pilot bushing, alignment tool, and a genuine Koyo throw out bearing.

6 Puck disc is also available but not recommended for most street applications.

4140 Forged Steel Ultra Light Weight Flywheel

BENEFITS:
Weighs 17.5lbs vs 30.9 lbs stock.
Allows engine to more rapidly transfer power to the drive train and to have quicker throttle response. Motor will rev faster under acceleration.
Recommended for forced induction applications to reduce typical turbo "lag" with turbo-charged engines and increase supercharger efficiency due to less parasitic drag on the crank. Meets SFI spec 1.1 or 1.2
Less mass on the ouside rim is a big factor in reducing the rotational inertia of this flywheel.

The distance the mass is located from the center of rotation is very important to the value of the moment of intertia.
This flywheel has the lowest moment of inertia available of any aftermarket production Z34 / G37 flywheel. Which translates to a faster revving motor.

This kit also includes a free braided stainless steel clutch slave cylinder line.
